Our First Spring Break as Hosts with Unexpected Joys of Welcoming Travellers

Jack, my husband, and I were so excited for spring break! We’d just gotten married, and we had this adorable little resthouse in St. Kilda. I’m Emma, a graphic designer who loves to travel, and Jack’s an IT guy who’s just as obsessed with exploring new places as I am. We had this extra room in our resthouse, and it was just sitting there, all empty. So we thought, ‘Why not share the love? ‘ We decided to become Airbnb hosts! It seemed like the perfect way to introduce people to St. Kilda Beach, which is our absolute favourite place in the world. Plus, we figured it would be a great way to meet new people and make some extra cash.
