QuickBooks Multi-User Mode Not Working? Turn Hosting Mode On
The server computer's Hosting Mode may be off if QuickBooks Multi-User Mode is not functioning. This stops several people from accessing the firm file at once. Incorrect hosting configurations, problems with network connectivity, or a disabled QuickBooks Database Server Manager are typical causes. To resolve this, restart the database server, verify the firewall settings, and enable Hosting Mode in QuickBooks by going to File > Utilities > Host Multi-User Access.
