IITians Leading The World With Unique Innovations

It is said that “necessity is the mother of all invention”, one needs to always be innovating and inventing as per the requirement of time. In many recent achievements, it can be observed that many engineers are not only taking this proverb seriously but have also proved it through their work.

A group of budding engineers from IIT Bombay felt that the city is often brought to a standstill situation with flooding due to heavy rainfall. This made them think about what can be done to help people during such situations. So they came up with a fascinating idea to use Twitter to share alerts on a real-time basis. The general public is alerted by Twitter when any such incident occurs in the city.

Another accomplishment was made by IIT Hyderabad students. They made a drone for transporting human beings. It can be said that the research is in the early phase of trials and there can be many applications through this technology. Transportation is one of the biggest challenges for many urban cities, and there is a huge scope of growth to the same.
